Montessori is an innovative method of observing and supporting the natural development of children. Montessori educational practice helps children develop creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and time-management skills, and care of the environment and each other. The Montessori Toddler, Preschool, PreK and Kindergarten classrooms provide a prepared environment in where children can be driven naturally to work and learn. The children’s inherent love of learning is encouraged by giving them the opportunity to be spontaneous, and engage in meaningful activities. Through their work children develop concentration, motivation, persistence, and discipline. Within this framework of order they progress at their pace and rhythm according to their individual capabilities. The Montessori Method develops the whole personality of the child, not merely their intellectual faculties but also their powers and deliberation, initiative and independent choice, with their emotional complements. By living as a free member of a real social community, the child is trained in those fundamental social qualities which form the basis of good citizenship. We are open 5 days a week, year-round, for full-day classes. Our Centerville Campus will open in January 2023 and serve children 18 months to 6 years old.
